Plique-à-Jour Thai Bangle
Plique-à-jour is a technique used in enameling to create a stained-glass effect in jewelry and other decorative objects. The term plique-à-jour comes from the French words "to let in daylight", which refers to the translucent nature of the enamel that allows light to shine through the piece. Each cell is masterfully filled with enamel, when hardened, becomes beautifully translucent.
The bangle takes inspiration from the Thai culture featuring the Bodhi Leaf design and beautiful colours.
